OUR VALUES

How do you describe Joy Church? Is it a building? A group of people? Activities? A vision? What is Joy Church in a nutshell? We came up with three values that we believe define our community:

1) Faith 2) Family and 3) Fun

FAITH

Our value of faith reflects our belief in Jesus as our Lord and Savior and the Bible as God’s inspired Word. At Joy, it is our desire to build our lives upon the rock of Christ Jesus and His teachings. All of our services, Connect Group meetings, and activities exist to promote our faith in Jesus. He is the hope of the world. We want Him at the core of all we do.

FAMILY

Our value of family is front and center at Joy. We are committed to serving the family

structure because we believe it is a reflection of the heart of God. Strong families who are

living out the love of Jesus are the basis for successful churches, successful communities, and ultimately, successful societies. Our heart is to see great marriages, loving family relationships, and kids being raised up as bright lights in a darkened generation.

FUN

At Joy, we love to have fun. Our church name says it. Joy! We believe that serving God together as a community is the most enriching and joyful way to live. At every Joy service, you’ll find lots of laughter, energy, and excitement! Come experience Joy Church!

What we do

We believe church ought to be a relevant and exciting place where you can meet with God and get involved in what He’s doing. If you’ve never visited Joy, we hope you’ll take some time to visit one of our weekend gatherings or attend our online service. Connect groups have one, simple purpose: to bring people together. We believe God created us to live in relationship with others and only then can we live the full life He intends for us. Sharing life through community is part of our design, but meaningful relationships aren’t always easy to find. That’s why small groups exist—to make these life-changing relationships relevant and accessible to you.

Growth Track

God has an incredible purpose for your life, and the Joy Growth Track is designed to help you connect with that purpose. On the Growth Track, you will spend four Sundays diving into what it looks like to follow Jesus, connect to the church, discover your purpose and then make a difference with your life.

This class will help guide you through the essential steps that every believer needs to take to become a fully-devoted follower of Christ including the opportunity to be water baptized. Step One takes place the first Sunday of every month.

This class will give you a basic introduction to the story, beliefs and structure of Joy Church as well as a guide for how you can get connected and join the church. Step Two takes place the second Sunday of every month.

This class will help you discover how God uniquely created you. Through understanding your personality and spiritual gifts, you will be prepared to serve others in the way God designed. Step Three takes place the third Sunday of every month.

This class is your opportunity to get connected to a ministry team at Joy Church. Based on your personality and spiritual gifts that you discovered in Step Three, you will be able to attend an orientation to the team that best fits your design. Step Four takes place the fourth Sunday of every month.
